2. Intensive Course: Health Systems through Conflict & Recovery

The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy, is offering the intensive training course Health Systems through Conflict & Recovery from April 4-15th, 2016. The training is directed to anyone working in the area of health care in conflict zones. The volatility and complexity of conflict and post-conflict contexts pose daunting challenges to health workers – both national and international– who are called to rehabilitate derelict health structures. Lack of properly prepared professionals in this field has often resulted in reconstruction efforts characterized by weak analysis, little understanding, inadequate planning and poor implementation. This training programme intends to alleviate this gap.

Applications must be received no later than 21 March 2016, 12:00 noon (CET). www.itpcm.dirpolis.sssup.it/in-agenda/health-systems-through-conflict-and-recovery/
